Algebra 1

Welcome to Algebra 1!

This class will cover all areas of a traditional Algebra course with some hands on introduction of concepts. It will meet once a week for teaching and discussion. Homework and tests will be assigned to be completed outside of class. 5-6 hours per week of work outside of class will be required. This class will move right along and is intended for the serious student. Parents will be responsible to assure their student is completing & correcting each daily assignment.

Materials needed
Scientific Calculator with sin, cos, and tan functions, notebook, pencils, and two similar pocket folders for turning in homework.

Homework procedures:

For each lesson, you MUST read the lesson carefully in order to be able to do the problems.
Check all of your homework answers against the answers in the back of the book.
Correct any problems you missed.
Put your homework sheets for the week in order and place them in the pocket of your homework folder to turn in to me
