Welcome to Algebra 2/Trig! This course is designed for strong math students who are college/university bound. The first 2/3 of the year will focus on algebra skills providing all the algebra needed to continue on in high school and college math. The last 1/3 of the year will be an extensive study of trigonometry including triangle and circle trigonometry. 6-7 hours of work outside of class will be required each week. Parents will be responsible to assure that their student is completing and correcting each daily assignment. Materials needed: Graphing Calculator (T-83 or 84 - these are the only acceptable options), notebook, graph paper, pencils, colored pencils and 2 similar pocket folders.
