This class will cover all areas of a traditional Geometry course including formal proofs. It will meet once a week to explore new topics in a group co-operative learning environment. Homework and tests will be assigned to be completed outside of class. 6-7 hours per week of work outside of class will be required. This class will move right along and is intended for the serious student. Parents will be responsible to assure their student is completing & correcting each daily assignment. Materials needed: Good quality Geometer's Compass , Protractor, Scientific Calculator with sin, cos, and tan functions, notebook, pencils, colored pencils and 2 similar pocket folders.
