Welcome to Math Explore!Welcome the Math Explore. This class is designed to help you get and stay excited about math! Class
time will be spent exploring math ideas through hands on activities and games.
Major topics covered will be ratios, scaling, percents, number patterns,
fractions and geometry. One outside of class project will be assigned during
the school year. We will also work each week on mastering multiplication facts
and mental math. Students need the following items in class each week: Pencils, Paper, Colored Pencils, Ruler with metric and standard scales, Basic Calculator. Students will be expected to work on their own math curriculum at home. |
